I think that the Japanese government is over reacting to the situation. Yes the Tsunami was a tragedy, but blocking off a whole town from their way of life is over reacting. Also the environmental impact that it would have on the coastal ecosystem. It would block nutrient rich run off from the coast. they should develop better warning systems for earthquakes. Also better evacuation plans to save lives.

The Bio-Geo timeline was every group had a time in evolutionary history and had to be able to explain it and make a fossil of a animal from that time. i learned there was a lot more to evolution than just animals coming from other version of them. I did the Ordovician period where most animals were clams and squid like. I gained many different types of knowledge like how all of life came from the ocean.
